
Eagles Make Three Trades at August Deadline

SYDNEY - The Cape Breton Eagles have made three trades today before the QMJHL's August trade deadline.
The Eagles have traded forward Mikael Martel (2001-04-10) to Rimouski in exchange for Saint John's fifth round draft pick in 2021.
The Eagles have traded forward Milo Roelens (2003-01-16) to Gatineau in exchange for forward Alexandre Pellerin (2001-07-17) for Victoriaville's third round pick in 2020 and Gatineau's third round pick in 2021.
The Eagles have traded forward Isiah Campbell (2000-12-07) to Drummondville for forward Adam Bowness (2002-03-07)
Bowness and Pellerin will not be joining Eagles training camp at this time but the Eagles now hold the rights to both players.
The Eagles will conclude their pre-season on September 14th in Fredericton against the Saint John Sea Dogs before opening the regular season on September 20th in Bathurst against the Titan, and playing the team's home opener on Saturday, September 28th, against the Saint John Sea Dogs.
