
Eagles' Francis Selected for CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game

SYDNEY - Cape Breton Eagles forward Ryan Francis has been selected to play in the CHL/NHL Top Prospects game on January 16th in Hamilton, Ontario.
The event is held every year as the 40 top NHL draft eligible players from the Canadian Hockey League take part in a televised hockey game on Rogers Sportsnet as a showcase for June's NHL draft.
This season Francis, in his third QMJHL campaign, has 47 points in 38 games. Earlier this season he represented Team QMJHL in the CHL Canada/Russia Series. He was chosen by the Eagles in the second round, 21st overall, in the 2017 QMJHL draft.
Francis and his Eagles teammates are in action tonight at 7 PM as they host the Acadie-Bathurst Titan at Centre 200.
