WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced Thursday that they have signed goaltender Tyler Bunz and defenseman Nolan Kaiser to professional tryout agreements.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound netminder was a 1st round pick of the Medicine Hat Tigers in the 2007 WHL draft and saw action in 197 games with the Tigers over the course of his junior career. During that time, Bunz posted a 2.72 GAA and a .911 save percentage, while also being named to the WHL All-Star Team in both 2011 and 2012 and received the Del Wilson Trophy as the WHL's Top Goaltender in 2012.

Kaiser spent the past four seasons at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, where he notched five goals, 10 assists and 84 penalty minutes in 76 games with the Nanooks. The 6-foot, 195-pound blueliner was also named to the WCHA All-Academic Team in both his junior and senior seasons.

Prior to launching his NCAA career, the Calgary, Alberta native registered 69 points and 251 penalty minutes in 146 games at the junior level with the Camrose Kodiaks of the AJHL. He would go on to be named to the AJHL All-Star Team and represent Team Canada West and the World Junior A Championships.
