Colorado Eagles News Release

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Central Hockey League's Northern Conference champion Colorado Eagles announced today that their preseason camp will run from Monday, October 6-Saturday, October 11. The team will practice daily (from 10-11:30 a.m.) except for the two days in which they'll be playing preseason games (Wednesday, October 8 and Saturday, October 11), when they will hold only morning skating sessions from 9-11. The team will also hold afternoon practices from 3:30-4:30 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Both preseason games will start at 7:05 p.m.

New head coach Kevin McClelland will be running his first camp in Colorado with a lineup full of fresh faces as the team prepares for the upcoming 2008-09 season, and fans can get their first glimpse of the team in action at the October 8 Benefit Game for Les Borsheim. All the proceeds from that game - to be played against the Front Range rival Rocky Mountain Rage - will go to the Les Borsheim Recovery Fund. The Eagles will conclude camp with a game against the expansion Rapid City Rush on October 11. It will mark the Eagles' first look at a team they will see more often than any other this season.

The defending Northern Conference champion Colorado Eagles will open the 2008-09 season with a home game against the Rapid City Rush on October 17. Tickets for all home dates at the Budweiser Events Center can be purchased through the Budweiser Events Center box office, www.ComcastTix.com, 1-877-544-TIXX (8499), the Eagles' Office in Water Valley or through any ComcastTIX Outlet.
