
Eagles Add Rookie Forward Patrick D'Amico

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced Tuesday that they have agreed to terms with rookie forward Patrick D'Amico for the 2015-16 season. The 6-foot, 200-pound center recently concluded a breakout season during his final year with the Regina Pats of the WHL. The 20 year-old posted 20 goals and 30 assists in 72 games with the Pats during the 2014-15 campaign. In total, D'Amico collected 75 points in 160 WHL games, including 27 goals. He also generated 110 penalty minutes while playing at a combined plus-minus rating of plus-14.
"Patrick is a talented young prospect who will have a great opportunity to show what he can do," said Eagles head coach and general manager Chris Stewart. "Given his potential, he certainly has a chance to be one of the better rookies this year in the ECHL."
In addition, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native has also spent parts of three seasons in the MJHL with the Winnipeg Saints, where he registered 25 goals and 27 assists in 71 games.
