
Eagles Add Former Colorado College Defenseman Ian Young

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced Wednesday that they have signed rookie defenseman Ian Young for the 2015-16 season. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound blueliner recently concluded a four-year career at Colorado College, where he tallied 19 points in 114 games with the Tigers.
"I'm very excited to be joining this organization and to have the opportunity to play professional hockey," said Young. "I played with (Eagles defenseman) Arthur Bidwill in college and he had nothing but great things to say about the Eagles. I'm also really excited to be staying in Colorado, it's such an awesome place to play."
Young spent his junior career playing two seasons in the USHL with both the Chicago Steel and Fargo Force, registering 38 points in 89 games. The Red Deer, Alberta native also spent one season in the NAHL with the Wichita Falls Wildcats, generating 8 points in 29 contests.
Season tickets for the 2015-16 season are on-sale now and can be reserved with a $50 deposit per seat by calling the Eagles ticket office at 970-686-SHOT (7468).
