Elizabethton River Riders News Release
Flooding rains hit Joe O'Brien Field late Sunday afternoon causing several buildings to flood at the stadium including sections of the visiting locker room. In a season that has been plagued by relentless rainfall the storm that continues to pound Elizabethton was unprecedented.
Elizabethton will try and make up tonight's game with Danville tomorrow. The first game is scheduled to begin at 4:00PM with the second one to follow around 7:00PM. The start time for a doubleheader has been moved up from 6:00PM to 4:00PM to hopefully provide more time and better weather conditions for this series to be played.
