HOUSTON, TX (Thursday, April 14, 2011) -- In recognition of the traditional deadline for federal tax returns, the Houston Dynamo are offering a special ticket promotion as relief. The Tax Day Dynamo Discount offers tickets to Sunday's match against the New England Revolution for just $10.40 in honor of the Internal Revenue Service's 1040 individual tax form. Sunday's game kicks off at 6 p.m. at Robertson Stadium.

This one-day deal is available on Friday, April 15, and tickets can be purchased by logging on to HoustonDynamo.com/TaxDay or by calling (713) 276-GOAL.

"We're trying to help relieve some of the stress that always comes up this time of year when people are dealing with their taxes," Dynamo Senior Vice President Rocky Harris said. "We hope that fans will take advantage of this chance to celebrate the end of tax season and get excited about Sunday's game."

The Dynamo will be trying to move into second place when they face New England, which is currently one point ahead of Houston in the Eastern Conference standings. Houston is coming off of a 3-1 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps last Sunday.
