
Dynamo, Dash to Participate in 10th Annual Tommy Bahama Island Cowboy Classic

HOUSTON (Wednesday, April 15, 2015) - Over 15 Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash players and coaches will participate in the 10th-annual Tommy Bahama Island Cowboy Classic golf tournament on Monday, April 20. The charity tournament will be held at the Woodlands Country Club- Tournament of Players Course (1730 S Millbend Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77380), with registration starting at 10:30 a.m.
The tournament will benefit The Woodlands Shooting Stars Special Olympics, a team of Special Olympics Texas, and Dynamo Charities, presented by the Halliburton Charitable Foundation.
The tournament field includes Dynamo players Nate Sturgis, Michael Lisch, David Horst, and Rob Lovejoy in addition to members of the team's coaching staff. Houston Dash players Tiffany McCarty, Meghan Klingenberg, Morgan Brian, Stephanie Roche, Melissa Henderson, and former Dynamo player Brian Ching will also participate in the event.
Space is still available for individual players ($350 per person) and foursomes. The tournament format is four-person team scrambles. On-site registration is available until all entries are filled. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. An awards dinner and charity auction will be held at 6 p.m. at Tommy Bahama Restaurant-Bar-Store (9595 Six Pines Dr., The Woodlands).
