LA Galaxy collaborate with Reigning Champ to launch limited-edition collection

CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, April 15, 2015) - The LA Galaxy have teamed up with leading sportswear brand Reigning Champ to present the LA Galaxy x Reigning Champ 2015 Collection.

The limited-edition line will be available at www.reigningchamp.com, BLENDS in Downtown Los Angeles and at the TEAM LA Store in Carson, Calif. at StubHub Center. The collection's release party will be held Thursday, April 16 from 6-8 p.m. PT at BLENDS in downtown Los Angeles and is open to the general public.

The collaboration sees the partnership of two of the top and most iconic brands in their industry as the five-time MLS Cup champs team with the dominant athletic sportswear brand. With features that represent the club's unrivaled history and success in North American soccer within the original look and fit of Reigning Champ clothing, the collection offers a unique, comfortable and authentic design that reflect their values of originality, quality and strength.

The collection speaks to the Galaxy's distinctiveness as the most successful and established brand within Major League Soccer."

The LA Galaxy x Reigning Champ 2015 Collection will feature the simple, rugged and hand-crafted designs of Reigning Champ with the incorporation of the LA Galaxy branding featured in different clothing items. The collaboration is rooted in the Galaxy's success and prominence in Major League Soccer and will creatively utilize the club's five stars to represent five MLS Cup championships, the most of any team in league history.

The product line will feature four LA Galaxy x Reigning Champ items: crewnecks ($140) and jackets ($230), tees ($75) and shorts ($110). The crewneck and jacket are applied by hand using a traditional flocking technique and all four items are originally designed using hand-stitched and handcrafted material.
