
Dynamo Away Playoff Game Against Chivas USA to be broadcast live On 790 AM

HOUSTON, TX- (Wednesday, October 18, 2006) -The first-round 2006 MLS Cup Playoff match between the Houston Dynamo and Chivas USA will be broadcast live from the Home Depot Center by 790 AM, it was announced today.
The game is scheduled for this Sunday, October 22, at 3:00 p.m. CT.
790 AM's transmission will start at 2:30 p.m. CT with a half hour pre-game show hosted by Charlie Pallilo. Once the game starts, Pallilo will take over the game's play-by-play, bringing Houston fans all the action and excitement of a contest that promises to be intense from beginning to end.
"We are pleased to have 790 AM doing our game in Los Angeles this weekend. By making the playoffs this year, we are making history, and this is a great opportunity to allow all Houston fans to take part in this special ocassion", said Houston Dynamo President and General Manager Oliver Luck.
790 AM The Sports Animal is one of Houston's most popular radio stations. Its programs include the Dynamo Power Hour, and drive time shows including Davies and Dukes (AM Drive) and The Drive Home (PM Drive hosted by Charlie Pallilo).
