Dwayne Hay Named In Glas Co ECHL Player of the Week

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots are proud to announce that left wing Dwayne Hay has been named the In Glas Co ECHL Player of the Week for December 13-19.

Hay scored five goals and eight points as the Ice Pilots went 3-1-0 with wins over Florida, Louisiana and Charlotte. Hay scored the Ice Pilots first hat trick of the season on Friday night and also picked up two assists in the 8-4 win vs. Charlotte. He scored two more goals including the Ice Pilots first shorthanded goal of the season in the Ice Pilots 3-1 win vs. Louisiana on Saturday night and assisted on the Ice Pilots only goal of the game at Louisiana on Sunday.

Hay is the first player this season to win the In Glas Co ECHL Player of the Week award and has played in all 21 games for the Ice Pilots this season ! scoring 11 goals, 7 assists for 18 points and picking up 20 penalty minutes. Hay leads the Ice Pilots with his 11 goals and is tied for second on the team with 18 points and two game winning goals.

The Ice Pilots play home to the Florida Everblades tonight at 7:05 p.m. It is Florida Lottery Second Chance Night. Fans can bring $5 worth of non winning Florida Lottery tickets to the Civic Center box office and receive a ticket to the game.
