PENSACOLA, FL â The Florida Everblades (15-11-1) won their third straight game with a 3-2 overtime victory over the Pensacola Ice Pilots (14-5-3) on Tuesday night at the Pensacola Civic Center. The win was also Florida fifth straight on the road, and gave the Everblades their first win in the season series.
After a scoreless first period which saw Florida outshoot Pensacola 13-4, the Everblades opened the scoring with rookie Matt Hendricks picking up his team-leading 14th goal of the season at 2:14 of the period when he scooped up a rebound by Ice Pilots goaltender Frederic Cloutier. Pensacola tied the game at 13:54 when Ryan Vince beat Everblades net-minder Craig Kowalski high on the stick side. Brad Church regained the one-goal lead for Florida with 2:35 remaining in the period, however, the Ice Pilots battled back to tie the game just 1:20 later on Nick Lindberg's fourth goal of the season.

Florida finished the night 1-for-3 on the power play, while the Ice Pilots finished 0-for-5 on the man advantage.
