
Dust Devils Win Third Straight

Tri-City Dust Devils News Release
The Tri-City Dust Devils (10-13, 28-33) hung on to come away with the 2-1 win over the Everett AquaSox (10-13, 30-31) on Saturday night at Gesa Stadium. The Dust Devils have now won three consecutive games and four of their last five.
Three different Tri-City players, Xavier Edwards, Grant Little and Dwanya Williams-Sutton, each finished the game with two hits. The pitching staff once again delivered for the Dust Devils. After Tri-City starter Ramon Perez surrendered a run in the first inning, the team combined to keep Everett scoreless over the final eight innings of the game. Diomar Lopez took over on the mound for Tri-City in the top of the ninth inning and slammed the door shut on the AquaSox, picking up the save for the second straight night.
The Dust Devils will look for the sweep over Everett on Sunday night.
Tri-City will send right-hander Adrian Martinez to the mound. The AquaSox will counter with right-hander Cody Brown. It will be Baseball Card Giveaway Night at Gesa Stadium.
