Tri-City Dust Devils News Release
The Tri-City Dust Devils (17-33) suffered the 6-1 road loss to the Spokane Indians (23-28) on Thursday night at Avista Stadium.
Dust Devil Francisco Del Valle was on-base every time up with two singles, hit by pitch twice and scored the only run from a wild pitch in the 6th inning. Brendon Davis extended his hitting streak to six with a 1st inning single and a two out triple in the 5th.
Starting pitcher Zach Lingenfelter pitched six strong innings tonight, allowing only two earned runs over six innings, striking out five and allowing one walk.
Left-hander Hector Yan will start for Tri-City in the fourth matchup of the six-game road series on Thursday night. Spokane will counter with right-hander Chris McMahon.
