Game 1: RHP Wes Parsons (6-2, 3.20) vs. RHP Chih-Wei Hu (4-7, 4.47)
Game 2: LHP Chad Bell (2-3, 5.23) vs. RHP Jake Faria (0-1, 9.00)
After clinching a 2-2 split series with a second-consecutive shutout win over the Pawtucket Red Sox, the Durham Bulls open a three-day five-game homestand with the Gwinnett Stripers looking to cut their magic number lower than 12 against the South Division foe. The Bulls are scheduled to open the homestand with Chih-Wei Hu on the mound, opposite right-hander Wes Parsons for the Stripers. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. with Game 2 to shortly follow the conclusion of Game 1. In Game 2, Jake Faria makes his fifth start with the Bulls opposite left-hander Chad Bell.
Durham's lead in the South Division held at 4.5 games with the combination of a Bulls win and a Norfolk Tides (65-59) victory on Sunday. The Tides are 1.0 game back of the Columbus Clippers for the Wild Card spot and the Bulls have gone 4-2 over their last six games.
