Dupaco Giveaway & Postgame Skate Sunday

It's Dupaco Day and a Dupaco Cowbell Cup matchup between your Des Moines Buccaneer and the Cedar Rapids Roughriders on Sunday afternoon, March 19, a 3:00 p.m. CT puck drop. The first 500 fans on Sunday will take home a Dupaco Cowbell Cup mug. Fans will receive a voucher for the mug, and the mug can be picked up at fan relations towards the end of the third period and after the game. One mug per voucher.

Fans can score a free general admission ticket to Sunday's game by bringing 3 non-perishable food items that will go to support area food pantries.

Sunday is also a Kids Club game and the Buccaneers will have a postgame skate with the team. Anyone wishing to be on the ice or skate will need to sign a consent form and those are available at the Fan Relations table. We recommend fans do this when arriving to the game or as early as possible before the end of the game. Skates are available as well.

The Buccaneers will also welcome members of the Central Iowa D-League (Adult Hockey) on Sunday, as they celebrate their season, also playing a 3-on-3 tournament at Buccaneer Arena on Saturday and Sunday. Adults interested in learning to play hockey or join a league at any level of skating ability, can learn more about the CIDL here.
