
Dunn, Horan, Sauerbrunn, Smith Named to U.S. Women's National Team Travel Roster for April Friendly Matches in Europe

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC midfielders Crystal Dunn and Lindsey Horan, defender Becky Sauerbrunn and forward Sophia Smith have been named to the 23-player U.S. Women's National Team travel roster for a pair of friendlies in Europe on April 10 and April 13, it was announced today.
The United States squares off against Sweden on Saturday, April 10, in Stockholm at Friends Arena; kickoff is set for 10 a.m. (Pacific) on FOX. The USWNT then travels to Le Havre to take on France at Stade Océane on Tuesday, April 13. The match begins at 12 noon (Pacific) and will be broadcast on ESPN2. Head coach Vlatko Andonovski will name 18 players to suit up for each match.
Dunn, Horan, Sauerbrunn and Smith all helped the USWNT win the 2021 SheBelieves Cup, concluding the tournament with a 6-0 win over Argentina on Feb. 24. Sauerbrunn (182 caps) and Horan (91 caps) featured in all three matches. Sauerbrunn started and played 90 minutes in every game of the tournament, while Horan started in two of her three appearances. Dunn (109 caps) started and played all 90 minutes in two of the three matches. Smith (three caps) made a pair of substitute appearances.
