After scoring a run in the fourth and seventh innings, Dunedin loaded the bases with the tying and go-ahead runs aboard in the top of the eight, but were unable to push anything across against righty Darwin Ramos. RHP Joe Cavallaro picked up the save in the ninth after retiring the side in order. Nick Podkul and Samad Taylor drove in the only two runs for the Blue Jays on the night.
TODAY'S GAME: The Blue Jays take on the St. Lucie Mets in game two of a three game series and the second game of the six game road trip.
