The Long Island Ducks defeated the Atlantic City Surf 15-13 at Sandcastle Stadium Saturday night. The Surf committed five errors as seven of Long Island''s 15 runs were unearned.
The Surf punded out 19 hits but still lost. Garry Lee Maddox went 3-for-5 with five RBIs for Atlantic City and Justin Hall was 2-for-4 with four RBIs. Adonis Harrison hit an eighth inning grand slam for Long Island. Jose Velasquez was 3-for-5 with three RBIs for Atlantic City. The game was played in a 25 mile-per-hour wind ripping across the Sandcastle and that led to the slopyy play.
The two teams meet again on Sunday night at 7:05 p.m. at the Sandcastle.
