WEST VALLEY, UT - Tony Martensson scored 1:16 into overtime to lift the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 3-2 victory over the Utah Grizzlies Saturday at the E Center.
Brendan Yarema and Ben Guite also scored for the Ducks, who snapped a three-game skid. Newcomer Dale Clarke chipped in with a pair of assists, including the lone assist on Martensson's game-winner.
Ilja Bryzgalov recorded 16 saves in the third period and 37 overall to pick up the win.
Greg Hawgood scored twice for Utah, which had its three-game winning streak halted.
Jason Bacashihua, a first-round pick by Dallas in 2001, made 25 saves to take the loss.
Cincinnati, which has 62 points and is 1-2-1-1 on its eight-game road trip, remains 10th in the Western Conference playoff race. The Ducks trail ninth-place Philadelphia by three points and are six points behind Rochester, which holds down the eighth and final playoff spot.
