Drive, Modern Woodmen Host Veterans Night Game

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Drive, the Official NBA G League Affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, will host their annual Veterans Night game this Friday, November 16th at DeltaPlex Arena. Grand Rapids named Modern Woodmen as the presenting sponsor for this year's Veterans Night game earlier in the off-season.

Founded in 1883, Modern Woodmen offers financial services and fraternal member benefits to individuals and families throughout the US. Modern Woodmen's Andrew Beers and Scott Lowing are excited to partner with the Drive for this season's Veterans Night. "Being a fraternal financial services organization, it is our mission to serve our members and our communities. We wanted to be a part of the night to honor the men and women who have served our country." More info can be found at www.modernwoodmen.org.

Modern Woodmen selected Operation Supply Drop as the 50/50 beneficiary for the night's activities. Operation Supply Drop was founded in 2010 with a focus to deliver video game care packages to active military members. OSD also focus on helping integrate service members back into their communities through local team activities with Veterans and civilians.

Fans will get a chance to participate in the Drive's 50/50 ball toss taking place in between the third and fourth quarter Friday night with half of the 50/50 proceeds going to Operation Supply Drop and the other half going to the winning fan.

The Oath of Enlistment is also scheduled to take place before Friday's contest as Army cadets will be sworn into the United States Army.
