Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
For the second time this season a Waterloo Black Hawks four-game winning streak ended at the hands of the Green Bay Gamblers; Saturday it happened at Young Arena with the visitors recording a 3-1 final.
The result extended Green Bay's winning streak to ten, matching the longest for any team this year. Reed Seckel had assists on all the Gambler goals, setting up Ryan Furne twice in the first period and Anders Lee in the second.
Tyler Barnes deposited a feed from Nick Sorkin under the Gambler crossbar 2:31 into the third period, but Waterloo couldn't do anything more with several other chances. Steve Summerhays made stops on the Hawks' 34 other shots.
Waterloo completes a busy weekend Sunday afternoon at 3:05 by hosting the Tri City Storm. Domino's Family Four Packs are available for the game, including four tickets, four sodas, a One-Timer game program, and a Large Domino's Pizza for just $44.
