
Dream Playoff Tickets On Sale Today

ATLANTA, September 14, 2009- Tickets for the Atlanta Dream's first round playoff games go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. ET on Monday, September 14. The #2 seed Dream face the #3 seed Detroit Shock in the opening round.
Game 1 will be played in Detroit with tip-off set for 8 pm ET. The Dream returns home for Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) at Gwinnett Arena. Game 2 is scheduled for Friday, September 18 at 7:30 pm ET. If necessary, Game 3 will be played on Sunday, September 20 at 3 pm. Games 1 and 3 will be broadcast on ESPN2 and Game 2 will be broadcast on NBA TV.
The Dream finished the 2009 regular season with a record of 18-16, completing one of the biggest single season turnarounds in WNBA history. Atlanta finished 4-30 a season ago as an expansion team. This is the first playoff appearance in franchise history for Atlanta. The Dream won three of four regular season matchups against the Shock.
Dream first round playoff tickets go on sale on Monday, September 14 at 10 a.m. ET and can be purchased by calling 1-877-WNBA-TIX, at AtlantaDream.net, at the Gwinnett Arena box office and all Ticketmaster outlets.
