The Dragons took four of five games from the South Bend Silver Hawks over the weekend. Seth Mejias-Brean and Tanner Rahier each hit go-ahead homers to provide the difference in two of the four Dragons wins. Starting pitchers Robert Stephenson, Wandy Peralta, and Drew Cisco all posted at least six inning starts.

The Dragons have eight players on Baseball America's Top 30 Reds Prospects list. Baseball America rated starting pitcher Robert Stephenson as the top pitching prospect in the Reds farm system. He is ranked second in the organization behind former Dragon Billy Hamilton. Starting pitchers Ismael Guillon (#9), Pedro Diaz (#17) and Sal Romano (#30) are also ranked by Baseball America. Meanwhile, Baseball America touts outfielder Jesse Winker as the "best pure hitter" in the Reds system and the number seven prospect. Outfielder Jeff Gelalich ranks 14th in the system, third baseman Seth Mejias-Brean is rated as the Reds 19th best prospect, and third baseman Tanner Rahier is tabbed as the number 20 prospect in the Reds organization.
