Today's Game : The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the West Michigan Whitecaps (affiliate of the Detroit Tigers) in the second game of a three-game series.

Individual Notes

- Chris Okey has a seven-game hitting streak, going 11 for 24 (.458).

- Josciel Veras over his last 6 G: 7 for 17 (.412) with two home runs, two doubles, and 6 RBI.

- Nick Senzel has 23 extra base hits in 45 games with the Dragons while batting .309. His .549 slugging percentage would lead the league if he had enough plate appearances to qualify, while his .398 on on-base percentage would rank second in the MWL.

- Dragons RHP Sarkis Ohanian since his return from Goodyear: 26 G, 28 IP, 9 H, 6 R, 4 ER, 8 BB, 53 SO, 0-2, 13 Sv, 1.29 ERA.

Team Notes

- Last night's loss snapped the Dragons six-game winning streak, which was their longest winning streak since they won six straight June 13-18, 2015.

- Over their last seven games, the Dragons are 6-1 and have outscored their opponents 35-9 during the stretch. Four of the wins have been shutouts.

- Dragons pitchers have gone 31 consecutive innings without allowing an earned run.

- Over the last five games, Dragons pitchers have allowed just four runs (two earned) covering 44 innings.

- The Dragons have hit 33 home runs in July-August to rank tied for second in the league during this time frame.
