Clint Hardy had two extra base hits, sparking the Saugerties Stallions (1-3) to a 9-6 victory over the Glens Falls Dragons (1-3) on Friday at East Field, Glens Falls NY.
He homered in the fourth inning, singled in the fifth and sixth innings, and tripled in the eighth inning.
Tyler Phillips racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Glens Falls Dragons. He singled in the third inning.
AJ Carkner recorded his first win of the year for the Saugerties Stallions. He allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered five hits.
JT Whritner (0-1) took the loss for the Glens Falls Dragons. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked three, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
Hardy, Micah Riddick and Dylan Sprague helped lead the Saugerties Stallions. They combined for seven hits and seven RBIs.
