Green Bay Gamblers News Release
The Green Bay Gamblers began draft day dealing, trading the 3rd overall pick to Sioux City. In return the Gamblers received the Musketeers 1st and 3rd round picks and Sioux City's 2020 2nd round pick. With the 6th overall pick the Gamblers selected defenseman Nicolas Petruolo. The Neshanic Station, New Jersey native played in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) with the Minot Minotauros and Jamestown Rebels. Petruolo appeared in 40 games, notching 22 points (6g & 16a). Petruolo is committed to Union College.
In the 2nd round the Gamblers selected goaltender Gavin Enright. Enright played the past two seasons in the NAHL with the Kenai River Brown Bears. In 2018-19, the Farmington, Minnesota native appeared in 47 games posting a record of 19-24-3, 2.56 goals against average, and .921 save percentage. Enright is committed to Bemidji State University.
The Gamblers had a pair of third round picks, selecting defenseman Brady Ziemer and forward Dalton Wright. Ziemer played his junior hockey north of the border in British Columbia with the Merritt Centennials. In 55 games, Ziemer tallied 18 points (4g & 14a). Ziemer, who hails from Carver, Minnesota is committed to St. Cloud State. Wright suited up for the Buffalo Jr. Sabres, tallying 46 points (12 goals & 34 assists) in 57 games.

Players selected in the 2019 USHL Futures and Entry drafts, along with returners and free agents will report to Green Bay, June 10-14 to take part in the Gamblers summer tryout camp.
