Saturday, February 20th, Buccaneer Arena will host one of the most popular events of the Des Moines Buccaneers' season, the Doxie Dash.
The Animal Rescue League of Central Iowa is helping put on the event that will take place during the first intermission between the Buccaneers and the Chicago Steel as dachshund dogs will race across the ice. All fans are also asked to bring dry foods, treats and litter to donate at the ARL at their table in the east hallway.
