Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators rallied from deficits of 2-0 and 4-3 to beat the Erie SeaWolves 8-6 Sunday afternoon at FNB Field. Harrisburg scored in just two innings, the third and fifth, but made the crooked numbers stand up. The Sens scored three times in the third to take a 3-2 lead, then tallied five in the fifth to reclaim the lead.
The Big Play
Trailing 4-3 in the fifth inning, Frankie Tostado drilled a two-run home run to give the Sens a 5-4 lead. They'd go on to score three more in the inning.
On Capitol Hill
Mitchell Parker started and earned the win going five innings and allowing two earned runs.
Malvin Pena tossed two innings and allowed a run on a hit.
Garvin Alston earned a hold, his third, going two-thirds of an inning and allowing a run.
Orlando Ribalta earned his second save retiring all four batters he faced.
With the Gavel
Five different hitters had two hits for the Senators and every player had at least one.
Robert Hassell III, Blake Rutherford, Frankie Tostado, Brady Lindsly and Jose Sanchez all had two hits.
Tostada had a two-run home run and Hassell, Rutherford, Lindsly and Sanchez all doubled.
Filibusters
The Senators came into the series hitting .212 and left the series hitting .225... The 14 hits today are a season-high for the Senators... Harrisburg drew 29,350 fans to the six-game series for an average of 4,892 fans per game... the Senators finished the 12-game homestand with an 8-4 record.

The Senators and Reading Fightin Phils play game one of their six-game series at First Energy Stadium in Reading Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. The game can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Stations 96.5 FM, 95.3 FM, and 1400 AM beginning at 10:45 a.m.
