FLORENCE, KY - For the second time in as many days, the Florence Y'alls defeated the Windy City ThunderBolts by a final score of 8-4 at Y'alls Ballpark.

Saturday night's effort was headlined by dominant pitching. In total, Y'alls pitchers struck out 13 batters, nine of which sent back to the bench by starter Johnathon Tripp.

On the offensive side of things, center fielder Connor Perry led the way. The Florence newcomer drove in four runs in a 2-for-3 effort and scored a run.

First baseman Joe Lytle, who did not begin the game in the lineup, added some insurance in the seventh inning with his fourth home run of the season to left field.

In the top of the third inning, Zach Racusin attempted to steal second base. On the slide, Y'alls shortstop Luis Pintor was undercut and injured his right shoulder on the play. Pintor was forced to leave the ball game and no official timetable has been announced for his return.

With the win, Florence becomes the first team in the Frontier League to reach the 30-win mark with a record of 30-16. Windy City falls to 17-28.
