Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Dodgers scored a combined four runs over the sixth and seventh innings on the way to a 5-2 win against the Reno Aces Saturday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The Dodgers (77-50) won a second straight game to close out an eight-game homestand and win their four-game series against the Aces, 3-1.

Oklahoma City has now held opponents to two or fewer runs in nine of the last 13 games.

One of the Aces' runs came in the first inning on a RBI single by Jamie Romak to give Reno a 1-0 lead.

The Dodgers tied up the game, 1-1, in the bottom of the third inning on a RBI single by Darwin Barney.

Barney drew a walk to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning. He stole second base and advanced to third on a groundout by Corey Seager. Andy Wilkins came up to bat next and hit a fly ball that was dropped by Reno left fielder Peter O'Brien, allowing Barney to score for a 2-1 Dodgers lead. A RBI groundout by Scott Schebler extended the Dodgers to a 3-1 lead.

A two-run home run to left field by Jose Tabata - his second with the Dodgers - boosted Oklahoma City to a 5-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Reno's Romak homered in the top of the eighth inning to cut the Dodgers' lead to 5-2.

Dodgers starting pitcher Eric Surkamp (7-3) held the Aces to one run and six hits. He issued two walks and struck out seven in the win. Adam Liberatore was credited with a hold and Juan Gonzalez earned his ninth save of the season.

Reno starting pitcher Aaron Blair (6-2) was charged with the loss, allowing three runs and five hits over 6.0 innings.

The Dodgers next travel to Albuquerque to open their final road trip of the regular season. Oklahoma City plays the Isotopes at 7:05 p.m. Central Sunday at Isotopes Park to begin a four-game series in Albuquerque.
