(Nashua, NH, Aug. 15, 2006) Andy Dillard's three-run walk-off homer in the bottom of the tenth inning lifted the Nashua Pride to a 7-4 victory over the Worcester Tornadoes Tuesday night before a crowd of 1,034 at Historic Holman Stadium. Dillard's homer, his fourth of the season, came off Worcester reliever Chris Shank (1-3) who entered the game to start the tenth.

Nashua (15-12, 32-37) tied the game in the bottom of the ninth on a leadoff home run off the bat of East Swanzey's Bryan Duplissie who had a memorable night. For Duplissie it was his fourth round tripper of the year. The former Franklin Pierce College standout had three hits, scored twice, drove home a pair of runs and had a hand in throwing out a pair of Worcester runners at the plate.

In the fifth inning, Duplissie caught a Ricardo Cordova foul fly ball to left field and gunned down the speedy Lucas Taylor trying to score from third base. In the fifth inning, Duplissie picked up a Bobby Tewksbary double in left field, made a perfect throw to the cutoff man, shortstop Elliott Ayala, who in turn made a great throw to catcher Tommy Rojas who blocked the plate and tagged Keith Beauregard who was attempting to score from first on the extra base hit.

Pride starter Josh Stevens worked seven innings, scattering 11 hits and four earned runs, walking none and striking out a pair. Derrick DePriest (1-1), the fourth Pride hurler of the game, pitched a perfect tenth inning to gain the win.

Worcester's Matt Weagle pitched the first seven for the Tornadoes, allowing nine hits, three earned run, walking one and fanning four Pride batters.

Josh Beauregard had three hits and scored twice for Worcester (10-17, 32-39). Keith Beauregard and Patrick Perry each had two hits and an RBI for the Tornadoes.

Mark Hamilton, Nashua's starting pitcher on Wednesday, started in right field and had three singles. The lefthander Hamilton will be opposed by Worcester righthander D.J. Mattox in Wednesday's 7:05 pm contest in Nashua.

It's Casino / Pack Your Bags Night tomorrow, Aug. 16, at Holman with fans using funny money in order to win great prizes and support cancer research at the same time. One lucky fan will be selected to win a trip for two to Foxwoods Resort and Casino during the game, so make sure you have your bags packed for a two-night stay down in Connecticut. The Pride will also be giving away concert tickets to the Allman Brothers Band concert on Aug. 26.
