Anchorage Wolverines News Release
Anchorage, you are READY to RAGE! The Wolverines had an absolutely electric scrimmage tonight, with Team White taking the win in a shootout.
The game-winning strike came from Bryce Monrean, a former Kenai River Brown Bear who returns to his hometown team for his final year of junior hockey eligibility. In net for Team White, Liam Beerman made the final stop of the night to bring training camp to a close.
The even-effort through regulation highlighted the vast talent pool that showed up for the Anchorage Wolverines training camp. The roster will be whittled down to 25 players at the conclusion of camp, and the magnitude of the moment was felt until the final whistle.
The Wolverines are incredibly grateful for every player who came out for training camp, and always humbled by the support of our fans, sponsors and all of Wolverines Nation.
THE BEN WAS PACKED
It was a great preview to the 23-24 season. We will see you ALL October 6th for our HOME OPENER against the Kenai River Brown Bears.
