Zebulon, NC --- A two-run single by Brendan Harris with two outs in the ninth inning capped a two-victory day for West Tenn as the Diamond Jaxx defeated the Carolina Mudcats by 3-1 scores at Five County Stadium on Thursday night.
Steve Kent (L, 4-5) started Wednesday night's rain-suspended game, and after working two innings, returned to the mound on Thursday to allow two runs in the third inning as West Tenn (13-12) took a 3-1 lead.
