
Detroit Panthers Sign Randy "White Chocolate" Gill

Birmingham, Mich - The Detroit Panthers have just announced they have acquired Randy "White Chocolate" Gill from the PBL draft after the Montreal Sasquatch (PBL) was dissolved earlier this week.
Gill a 6'2 and 195 lb guard played for Bowie State University (Maryland), where he was top in assists and points. After leaving Bowie State, Gill was given the opportunity to play in Magic Johnson's reality television show "Who's Got Game" where he beat out 11 other streetball players and was placed with the elite legendary streetball players such as Skip to my Lou, aka Rafer Alston and Da Future, aka Malloy Nesmith.
Throughout his professional career, Gill continues to live up to his reputation; known for his superior ball handling skills and stupendous shooting skills, he earned position with the Maryland Nighthawks. He lead his team in scoring three points and assists for the two seasons he was with them, 2004-2005 and 2005-2006. He also played in the league's All-Star game for both seasons.
"We are looking to take our team to the next level and we know he has the capability to help us reach our goal," stated Bill Jones, head coach and assistant general manager of the Detroit Panthers.
Gill will play his first game with the Panthers on Sunday, February 8, 2009, at Groves Gymnasium, 20500 W. 13 Mile Road, Beverly Hills, Michigan at 6:00 p.m.
