Augusta Groove News Release
Detroit, MI - The Augusta Groove moved back to .500 and snapped the Detroit's three game winning streak as they defeated the Panthers 136-132.
Corey Sims scored a game-high 35 points to go along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Donielle Davis scored 29 points and Demetrius Howard scored 21 points to go along with 11 rebounds fro the Groove.
Detroit was led by Walter Waters 28 points and 15 rebounds. Stane's Bufford scored 28 as well and Randy "White Chocolate" Gill had 24 points and seven assists in the loss.
These two teams return to action on Saturday when they square off against each other in Augusta at 7PM.
