Details on the Brand New Fan Fest Released

September 9, 2019 - Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) - Charlottetown Islanders News Release

The Charlottetown Islanders will be hosting their inaugural Fan Fest this weekend on Saturday, September 14th in what will be an all new way to celebrate the start of the upcoming Islanders regular season.

This event will not only combine a pair of previously-held events in the Ball Hockey Jamboree and the Season Ticket Holder BBQ, but also add elements to make the day one gigantic fair of family-friendly fun!

Ball Hockey Jamboree

The Ball Hockey Jamboree is back and better than ever! The Jamboree will kick-off the festivities at 9:00am; you still have time to register your child's team. Registration is free for a team of 4 and each kid receives a free Islanders treat bag and T-shirt.

The Ball Hockey Jamboree will be hosted by our newest in-game host, Hot 105.5's Darcy Campbell!

Inflatable Fun

Not looking to play in the jamboree? That's okay! Par-T-Perfect will be set-up to bring you the best inflatable fun on the Island! Take part in awesome activities such as 9-hole mini putt, giant soccer darts, three amazing inflatables, along with free airbrush tattoos and balloon animals

Food for All

We're making sure that no one leaves Fan Fest hungry! Stuff your face with a free BBQ courtesy of Parkdale-Sherwood Lion's Club, free popcorn and cotton candy from Par-T-Perfect, free french fries from Cavendish Farms, and free pizza from Domino's Pizza!

Season Ticket Pick-Up

If you're a season ticket holder, swing by starting at 11:00am to pick up your season ticket! If you purchased your ticket before May 31st, you can pick up your free zip-up sweater as well!

After you pick up your ticket, join us for the official unveiling of the 2019-2020 Charlottetown Islanders at 1:00pm. The team will stick around for autographs at 1:30, and at 2:00pm join head coach and general manager Jim Hulton, along with new assistant coach Kevin Henderson, for a hotstove session with the one and only George Matthews!
