Details Announced For Barrie Colts Skills Competition

Barrie Colts News Release
The Barrie Colts announced today the details for this year's skills competition which will be held on February 15th.
The day will begin with "Colt for the Day" running from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. where the Colts will be split up amongst kids for three separate one-hour games. Fans taking part in this great event will have a chance to take photos with their favourite players prior to their game and have lunch with the players after their specific game.
Barrie Minor Hockey will be running their own skills competition from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and that will be followed up by the Barrie Colts skills competition from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.
The Colts will be split into two teams and compete in six different events with points being awarded for team and individual results. Players will compete in the puck control relay, fastest skater, hardest shot, accuracy shooting, power play challenge and the inter-squad game.
Admission to the skills competition is free to public and the Horsepower Sports Bar and Grill will be open from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m.
