Las Vegas Desert Dogs News Release
SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Las Vegas Desert Dogs managed just four goals Saturday night, falling to the San Diego Seals 14-4 at Pechanga Arena in their final road game of the year.
The Dogs offense could not find consistency, scoring their second fewest goals in a game this season.
After a tight opening quarter, the Seals ended the first half on a four-goal scoring run to take a 6-2 lead into the locker room.
Things got heated in the second half, with a number of scuffles and ejections to keep the officials on their toes. San Diego padded its lead with six third quarter goals to eventually cruise to the victory.
The Desert Dogs will return to Michelob ULTRA Arena for their final game of the franchise's inaugural season on Saturday, April 29 when Las Vegas hosts the Saskatchewan Rush. Faceoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
