Des Moines Buccaneers News Release
DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Des Moines Buccaneers were honored as the 2022 Easterseals Iowa 2022 Community Support Partner of the Year last week at the organization's annual banquet.
The Buccaneers are proud to support Easterseals Iowa with the annual Guns N Hoses game & Donut Drive, in partnership with the Des Moines Police and Fire Departments. Last year's event raised $66,000 to underwrite the costs for a new staff nursing position for Easterseals. This event and surrounding fundraisers have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Easterseals over the last several years.
Buccaneers President Nate Teut was on hand to accept the award, alongside members of the team front office staff.
The Des Moines Buccaneers look forward to our continued partnership with Easterseals Iowa and Des Moines Police & Fire with this year's event, scheduled for February 25, 2023.
