
DeMent Joins Senators

Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators announced today that infielder Dan DeMent has been added to the team from New Orleans. Dement fills a vacant roster spot which was created Tuesday when Ramon Castro was placed on the suspended list.
With the triple-A Zephyr this season, DeMent was batting .313 with no home runs and eight RBI's. Dan has also hit 7 doubles and 3 triples and compiled a .386 on-base percentage with New Orleans.
The addition of DeMent brings the Senators active roster back to 23 players, the maximum number currently allowed by the Eastern League.
