WILMINGTON - The Delaware Blue Coats (13-6) picked up a 126-115 win over the Grand Rapids Gold in their first game back from the All-Star break. With this win, the Blue Coats remain the first seed in the Eastern Conference standings.

"Before the break we had some really good games," Darius Bazley said. "We had the ball rolling before the break. To pick up where we left off felt really good."

Terquavion Smith led the way for the Blue Coats on the offensive end of the floor, finishing with 33 points, four rebounds and four assists. Along with Smith, Kenneth Lofton Jr. also had a big game with 22 points. Jarron Cumberland finished with a new season-high in scoring with 19 points and a season-high in steals with seven. Bazley (22) and Pat McCaw (14) both joined Smith, Lofton Jr., and Cumberland with double figures in scoring.

The Grand Rapids Gold had a great day shooting from behind the arc, at 47 percent. Zak Irvin would finish with a double-double, having a team-high 22 points and 10 rebounds. Andrew Funk would also have a big day, hitting six of his ten threes and finishing with 21 points. Au'Diese Toney (16) Jamorko Pickett (16), Armaan Franklin (14), and Walter Ellis (10) also finished with ten or more points.
