Goaltender Jordan DeKort's hard work off the ice has earned him our monthly scholastic award.
DeKort, 17, is our Peter Thomson of Sun Life Financial Academic Player of the Month for December.
DeKort attends St Anne High School, where he is excelling in three courses - Grade 11 Biology and Grade 12 Math and English - with B+ average.
Jordan is well-liked by his teachers and peers because of his respectful behaviour and positive attitude.
Peter Thomson of Sun Life Financial would like to congratulate Jordan and wishes him continued success in the classroom and on the ice.
Jordan will be recognized for his acheivement prior to today's game versus the Sarnia Sting.
