Quebec City, QC - With two outs and nobody aboard in the top of the first, shortstop Mike DeJesus lifted his first home run of the season to right field to give New Jersey a 1-0 lead against Capitales starter Ivan Blanco.
The Jackals and Capitales continue their three-game series on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. at Stade Municipal when New Jersey sends southpaw A.J. Wideman (2-0, 3.13 ERA) to the mound against Quebec ace Michel Simard (3-1, 1.75 ERA)
