The Sussex Skyhawks rallied from an early deficit to defeat the American Defenders of New Hampshire. The Skyhawks were trailing 2-1 after two innings before they scored five runs in the third inning and five more in the fourth to roll out to an 11-3 lead and would cruise on from there to victory. Skyhawks RF Maikel Jova went 3-for-6 with two runs scored and two RBI while CF Luis Soto went 2-for-5 with a home run and four runs driven in. Sussex starter Mike Schellinger evened his record at 2-2 with the win. Schellinger went five innings allowing four earned runs on seven hits with three strikeouts. 1B Jabe Bergeron was 3-for-5 with a run scored for New Hampshire in defeat.

A terrific pitching performance by Brockton starter Craig Anderson and solid nights at the plate by RF Jud Thigpen and LF Keith Brachold leads the Rox to victory over the Worcester Tornadoes. Anderson pitched a complete game giving up one run, unearned, on six hits with two walks and seven strikeouts. He is now 3-1 on the year. Thigpen, the league's Batter of the Week, went 2-for-4 with two runs scored while LF Keith Brachold had a two-hit night with a home run and three runs driven in.

The New Jersey Jackals tied a league record for most consecutive wins in a row with their 11th straight victory tonight. Jackals SS Mike DeJesus had a monster game as he went 3-for-6 at the plate with two home runs and five RBI. New Jersey LF Ryan Rogowski had a 2-for-4 night with two runs scored and four runs driven in. Jackals starting pitcher David Qualben evened his season record at 2-2 with a 5 1/3 inning performance allowing an earned run on four hits with five strikeouts.
