Madison Capitols News Release
Legacy20, ownership group of the Madison Capitols, is thrilled to announce the development of DeForest Yards and rebrand of Bob Suter's Legacy20 Arena Middleton.
Opening in 2025 and developed by Cascade Development, DeForest Yards is a state-of-the-art mixed-use housing and entertainment district that will offer a variety of sporting, recreational, and community events.
Amenities include Legacy20 Arena DeForest, equipped with a 2500 sq. ft. training center, an indoor/outdoor bar and patio, and an outdoor arena that will host hockey during the winter months and convert to a community space in the summer for markets, fitness programs, family and corporate events, and live music.
DeForest Yards will also include a second location of local favorite Aranda's Mexican Restaurant, Youngblood Brewery, and ample green space for visitors to congregate. Please reach out to Andrew Joudrey, President & CEO of Legacy20, with any inquiries at andrew@legacy20.com.
We're also excited to announce the transition from Bob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena to Bob Suter's Legacy20 Arena Middleton! This change symbolizes our commitment to growth and progress within the Middleton and Wisconsin hockey community. Changes and updates to our online and physical presence will be ongoing throughout the spring and summer.
Bob Suter's Legacy20 Arena Middleton will continue to be the home for the Capitols.
Join us as we write the next chapter of our legacy together, in partnership with DeForest Yards, to grow the game of hockey and offer more ice and opportunities to local youth.
