Tacoma Defiance battles Las Vegas Lights FC for possession

LAS VEGAS, NEV. - Tacoma Defiance (3-4-2, 11 points) fell 1-0 Saturday evening to Las Vegas Lights FC (3-6-1, 10 points) as the squad played at Cashman Field for the second time in a month.
Las Vegas scored early in the fifth minute when Danny Musovski got a foot on the end of a turnover in the area and was able to rifle it into the back of the net, past the body of keeper Andrew Thomas. Despite Tacoma having a plethora of chances on 14 shots throughout the match, Musovski's goal was the only of the game.
Wade Webber's side now faces a quick turnaround as it travels to southern California to play Orange County FC Tuesday, July 6 (7:00 p.m. PT / ESPN+). Tacoma emerged victorious when the two sides met earlier this season at Cheney Stadium by a score of 1-0 on May 16.
