"From the second I took the job, Javicz was the guy I wanted," said Coach Wooten. "He is a playmaker. He is strong in the run game, pass game, and a huge asset to special teams. I'm excited to be able to coach a player like Javicz. Our defensive general is back."

Jones who has shown his leadership both on and off the field during his time with the Barnstormers is excited to return to the team as a veteran.

"I'm so thrilled to be back to a place I call home, even though it is far away from my actual home," said Jones. "I make the travel to come and be part of a family and great organization. I'm looking forward to the 2017 season."
