
Defenseman Tariq Hammond Loaned to Adirondack

Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that it has received defenseman Tariq Hammond on loan from the AHL's Binghamton Devils.
Hammond, 24, is skating in his rookie season after signing with Binghamton late last year after a four-year career at the University of Denver. While with the Pioneers, the 6-foot-2 defenseman accumulated 26 points (6g-20a), 87 PIM and a +28 rating in his 125 games of action. Hammond wore the "C" as the team's captain during his senior campaign.
Since heading to Binghamton, the Calgary, Alberta native has appeared in five games while registering an assist, all at the end of the 2017-2018 season.
The Adirondack Thunder return to Glens Falls for the home opener on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. against the Brampton Beast.
